Why is playing your sport at CCU important to you? How is it different from your other competitive experiences?
CCU is awesome! CCU sports are even more awesome! I love my team! The encouragement I receive is amazing and there is no other place I would rather run. I love this experience because it is so loving and caring and the people are amazing!
What kind of legacy are you hoping to leave at CCU after your career is over?
I want to beat Adams State and Western State if I can. I also want to be remembered as a runner for God and one who loved God and all of the people I've come in contact with. I want people to see that I care and also like to be able to just relax and enjoy life.
In what ways have you changed as a result of your time as a CCU Athlete?
I am more carefree and enjoy life much more now. I have developed incredible relationships and will never forget. I am closer to God and am stronger spiritually. I have also become a more enjoyable person to be around.
Who has been most influential in your spiritual, academic, or athletic development as a CCU student-athlete?
My coach Ryan Long because he continues to push me and not let me quit. He is always there to continue making me thrive and grow in all the right ways. My brother Ryan also helped because he always had good advice to keep me on the right path in order to succeed.
