Katie Bardsley

Katie Bardsley competed at Nebraska Wesleyan University in Lincoln, NE. During her time as a student athlete, she competed in all events between the 60m and 400m dash. Bardsley is a six-time NCAA National Qualifier and eight-time 400m All-American, including three National Championship titles in the 4x400m relay and National runner-up in the 400m.
 
In 2017, Bardsley was nominated for NCAA Woman of the Year. Katie was one of 30 NCAA athletes across all sports to be honored for her athletic achievements, academic excellence and commitment to community service. In the same year, Bardsley was named the Elite 90 recipient for Women’s Track and Field, an honor bestowed to the athlete with the highest GPA at the NCAA National Track and Field Championships.  
 
Bardsley will be coaching the CCU Track and Field sprinters for her second season with the program. She is currently pursuing her Masters of Arts in Counseling at CCU in the hopes of working in a University setting or within a private practice. Katie and her husband Tommie reside in Lakewood.
