The Cougars fell to the University of Northern Colorado on Tuesday night 90-47. The exhibition event occurred at UNC in Greely, CO, marking the third time the two institutions have competed.

CCU's downfall was keeping possession of the ball. The Cougs outrebounded the Bears 45-41, but had 23 turnovers compared to UNC's six. Northern Colorado was not shy in shooting as they totaled 74 attempts, making 34 and shooting 46%. The Cougs made 12-47, with junior guard
Alex Nelson leading blue and gold with 16 points.

The Cougars are looking forward to getting healthy for a weekend of conference play. Colorado Christian will travel close by to UCCS and Metro State, who are both 3-1 in the RMAC.
