Cougar Tennis traveled to Southern California to compete against three different universities over the weekend of March 18
th-21
st. CCU Men ended their play on Monday afternoon going 1-2, and the women walked away 2-3.

Both squads defeated Hope International, the men winning 5-4, and women 8-1. Head coach
John Goodrich on the match vs HIU: "The women stepped up against Hope, taking all three doubles giving us a comfortable lead moving into singles. The women continue to improve as we play, preparing us well for the conference matches. The men got one double match and
Mitch Swim sealed the win for us today. Mitch has been playing solid tennis for at #4 and it's been great to watch him step up his game this year."

The Lady Cougs would win one more against Biola University 7-2, but the men would be defeated 0-9. Colorado Christian would lose both matches against Azusa Pacific men 0-6, and women 0-9.

Overall this Spring CCU Women's Tennis is 7-3, and CCU Men's Tennis is 4-6. The Cougars will be back on their home court at Lakewood Park on Friday, April 1
st. RMAC Conference play will start with Metro State at the forefront. Matches will start at 3:30 pm.
