Colorado Christian Men and Women's Tennis continues to dominate in Kansas winning their third straight competition in a row. This time, both squads defeated Barton County Community College 6-3 and 6-3.

The women won two out of three doubles matches with
Katy Balli and
Jennifer Perkins claiming the victory 8-2, and then
Maria Aguirre and
Raeghan Rudkin winning 8-4. Four singles matches were won by
Jennifer Perkins (6-2, 6-2),
Maddie Andersson (6-1, 6-3),
Raeghan Rudkin (6-4, 6-2), and
Maria Aguirre (6-3, 6-1).

For the men,
Nic Hoime and
Ryder Searle claimed the one and only doubles victory 8-2, but then the squad won five singles matches.
Chase Gebhart (6-4, 5-7, 10-7),
Ryder Searle (6-3, 6-3),
Nic Hoime (6-2, 6-1),
Trent Strietelmeier (6-2, 6-3), and
Barrett Cooper (6-3, 6-1).

This puts CCU at 3-1 on the 2016 season overall. "Men and women both stepped up to take a 6-3 win today," said head coach
John Goodrich. "Our third match in three days and we are playing stronger as the road trip continues. We are continuing to bring the energy with us on these away matches making it feel like we are playing at home.
Nic Hoime and
Ryder Searle got us started with a much needed win in doubles and
Barrett Cooper picked up a big win in singles."

CCU Tennis will be playing at Kansas Wesleyan University on Saturday, March 5
th at 11:00 am. This will be the Cougs final game in Kansas, and then they will return home to Lakewood, CO to continue their season.
