CCU Tennis had their last home game of the 2015-2016 season on Wednesday afternoon at Lakewood Park. The Cougs took on CSU-Pueblo, but both the men and women's teams were only able to win two of the nine matches.

Starting with the women,
Paige Crews led the Lady Cougs winning her singles match vs the Thunderwolves Mariana Hosomi. Crews took set one 6-3, and then set two 6-2. Crews and her doubles partner
Maddie Andersson also won over Pueblo's combo of Toni Alvarez and Kristin Jensen 8-2.

For the men,
Mitch Swim won his singles match vs Keaton Qualls by default, and
Ryder Searle and
Nic Hoime defeated their opponents in doubles 8-5.

John Goodrich. "Ryder and Nic put together a complete match today as they continue to improve."

The Cougars honored their two seniors today on their home court.
Katy Balli for the women, who has been a Cougar for four years, and a leader on and off the court.
David Horner was honored on the men's team, a Cougar since his sophomore year, and also an amazing student-athlete that has impacted his team and school.

The Cougars will be making up their match against Colorado Mesa University that was postponed due to rain on April 21
st in Pueblo, CO.
