COLORADO SPRINGS – A dramatic finish to the start of RMAC play didn't end the way Colorado Christian wanted.

Colorado Christian knotted the scored during their next opportunity when an infield hit by Matt Kimura scored Sam Gallegos then an error allowed Hunter Hays to scamper home on the same play.
In the eighth inning the Mountains Lion put together a threat as runner reached second base with two outs. On a 1-1 pitch, Schmidt lifted a ball deep into leftfield that looked to destined to clear the fence. However, Heath Hays made a beautiful catch at the wall to keep the score knotted at 3-3.
