Taylor (Strums) Klaus
Klaus is arguably the best volleyball player in Colorado Christian history. Before concluding her eligibility after the 2016 season, she was a two-time NCAA All American selection while earning three all-region accolades; including the region's Freshman of the Year in 2012. She is the school's all-time leader in kills, second in digs and sixth in service aces. Her 566 total sets played is also a school high mark. Â

2014-15 Women's Basketball Team

The 2014-15 Cougars women's basketball squad is the first female team to earn induction into the school's Hall of Fame. Despite starting the season on a losing streak, they rebounded with astonishing ability. During the spring semester of that season, they won 19 of their 25 games as they reach the round of 32 at the NCAA Tournament. Moreover, they won the RMAC Tournament Championship with three wins over a five-day period with standout Christina Whitelaw earning tournament MVP honors.
Derek Zeller
In addition to those former student-athletes, Derek Zeller will be honored as well for his continued support of the athletic department. He earned his bachelor's degree in 2004 then worked toward his Master's degree in 2010 at Colorado Christian. He has been a supporter of the athletics since becoming a full-time staff member 2006. He has been in his current role in the Life Direction Center for the past 10 years.
