Colorado Christian Claim RMAC Sportsmanship Cup for Fifth Straight Year

LAKEWOOD,CO- For the fifth consecutive year and ninth time overall, Colorado Christian has been honored with the RMAC Sportsmanship Cup as announced on Tuesday.

The ninth cup for the Cougars is the most of any school in the RMAC since the award was introduced in the 2006-2007 season.

The RMAC Sportsmanship Cup is designed to honor the institution which upholds the sportsmanship ideals held by the RMAC and the NCAA. The RMAC strives to promote sportsmanship and ethical conduct in every aspect of intercollegiate athletics. Student-athletes, coaches, administrators, officials, and spectators should act with respect and dignity as to uphold the integrity of themselves, their institutions, the NCAA, and intercollegiate athletics as a whole.

Voting for the award is done by institutional Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) team representatives and coaches. Voters consider the conduct of the student-athletes and coaches only.

Congratulations to all our student athletes and coaches for showing good sportsmanship throughout their respective sports to bring the cup home for the fifth year in a row!
