Beyond the Jersey

INSPIRATIONAL QUOTE & WHY | Psalms 62:5-6 NIV says, “Yes, my soul, find rest in God; my hope comes from him. Truly he is my rock and my salvation; he is my fortress, I will not be shaken.” Cox believes that this is a great reminder of God’s presence even in the tough times!
FAVORITE CCU MOMENT & WHY | Cox favorite moment was winning the Swan Memorial in the 2022 fall season. It was exciting to “experience successes with teammates after a lot of hard work!”
OUTSIDE OF SPORTS | Cox enjoys shooting, lifting weights, and hiking when she is not golfing.
FAMILY TIES | Her parents are David and Cynthia Cox. Her great uncle played baseball at UVA. Her cousin Lydia ran track at Elon University who was also a track standout. Her other cousin, Olivia swam at the University of Texas.
WHY CCU? | Cox chose CCU because she had the opportunity to play golf.
