CCU Athletics Hall of Fame
The Colorado Christian University Hall of Fame exists to honor alumni and friends who have left a lasting impact on CCU Athletics through their performance, achievements, influence, or service. Inductees are chosen from CCU's rich history from the categories of Student-Athlete, Team, Coach/Administrator/Athletic Staff Person, and Meritorious (Booster Member, Faculty Member, or Friend to Athletics).
Criteria for Selection
Student-Athlete
The student-athlete will have been a starter or significant contributor to their team on some level.
Each athlete will have a good example of basic Christian values in competition.
Each nominee will have been a strong statement of Christian values in other areas of life.
Must have been a student-athlete for CCU at least 2 years.
To be inducted, a nominee must receive the majority of the votes from the selection committee.
Athletic Administrator
Each coach or administrator must have served at CCU for at least 5 years.
The nominee must have served CCU as a coach, administrator, SID, manager, trainer, FAR, student-trainer or any capacity that made contributions to the CCU athletic program as a whole.
Each coach or administrator must have been a true example of Christian values and leadership throughout their career at CCU.
Each coach or administrator must have demonstrated the values CCU places on mentoring and building Christ-like qualities in the students they are involved with.
To be inducted, a nominee must receive the majority of the votes from the selection committee.
Meritorious
Each individual who is nominated must have been a graduate, faculty member, booster member, or friend of CCU athletics.
Nominees must have made outstanding contributions to the advancement of Christian athletics in some form.
The nominee must be a strong example of Christian character.
To be inducted, a nominee must receive the majority of the votes from the selection committee.
Team
The team nominated must have made a noticeable impact in the school and athletic program on.
The team nominated must have been a good exemplification of strong Christian character, sportsmanship, and teamwork.
To be inducted, a nominee must receive the majority of the votes from the selection committee.
