INSPIRATIONAL QUOTE & WHY | Perez is inspired by his father, Lance Perez, who grew up with very low means and paid his way through college. Perez says,“Because of his constant hard work and dedication, he built a large family who is loved and cared for. Not to mention, his commitment to his Catholic faith is unmatched and something I strive to implement in my life.”
FAVORITE CCU MOMENT & WHY | One of Perez’s favorite CCU moments is taking 3 of 4 games from Colorado Mesa and handing them their first series loss in 11 years.
OUTSIDE OF SPORTS | Perez works at an Architectural Firm. He also assists in coaching high school club baseball and helps run FCA on campus.
WHY CCU? | Perez chose CCU because he had the opportunity to play the sport he loves while also being able to dive deeper into his faith.
FAMILY TIES | Perez’s grandfather, Mike Quigley, also played college baseball at Colorado School of Mines. His grandfather, George Perez, played college soccer at Texas Christian University.
POST COLLEGE DREAMS | Perez hopes to work for an engineering firm while continuing to coach baseball at the youth or high school level.
