After playing his last two years at Colorado Christian University, Gabe decided to extend his career post grad where he played in the Pecos League Mountain division, an independent professional baseball league in the south central region. He played for the Tucson Saguaros where he played both first base and outfield. Gabe then made the decision to come back to his alma mater to be the graduate assistant where he will coach under his previous coaching staff of Paul Koss and Andrew Liberty.

gabe ramos“These two men had more of an impact on my career and as a man than I ever had from any other coaching staff and I could never repay them enough for it”. Ramos still feels there is more to learn from them as he is pursuing his lifelong goal to become a coach. “ I spent the last 2 years here being loved and supported by the guys around me and our culture has always been a brotherhood”.

Ramos said he wanted to come back to keep that culture alive and support and love on those guys who loved and supported him while he played. '“Leave your Jersey in a better place,' was something that Andrew Liberty used to always say and I wanted an extra two years to leave that mark on the program and help lead these men to be more like Christ, prepared for life, and to always be selfless for your brothers around you," said Gabe.

Ramos says, "The bonds you make here are everlasting and nothing will ever leave a bigger impact than grinding out the long and hard days of college baseball with your boys."
