FAVORITE CCU MOMENT & WHY | Thompson’s favorite moment at CCU was his game-tying homerun in his freshman season against Colorado School of Mines to set up their walk off in extra innings.
OUTSIDE OF SPORTS | Thompson likes to hunt and fish. He also enjoys being a DoorDash driver.
WHY CCU? | Thompson chose CCU for a Christ-centered education and to continue playing baseball.
FAMILY TIES | Thompson’s father, Tom Thompson, played college baseball at Santa Clara and his mother, Sherrie Thompson, played college soccer at Santa Clara. His sister, Megan, is a gymnast at Arizona State, and his brother, Kade, committed to University of Arizona for baseball. His uncle, Karl, played professional baseball in the Seattle Mariners Organization.
