2023 | Maydon appeared in 44 games for the Cougars at first base. He tallied 26 RBI, 5 homeruns, and 9 doubles. He recorded 44 hits and scored 28 runs while batting for an average of .312. Maydon was a part of 22 double plays, had 15 assists, and recorded 226 putouts.
2022 | Maydon made his collegiate debut against Rogers State (02/19). He played in 32 games and made 27 starts on the season. He finished the year with 17 runs, 37 hits, 10 2B, 4 home runs, 23 RBI, 1 stolen base and slashed .385/.417/.615.

INSPIRATIONAL QUOTE & WHY | Proverbs 3:5-6, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight.” Maydon says, “It’s been my favorite verse since high school. I even had it on my letterman jacket.”
FAVORITE CCU MOMENT & WHY | Maydon’s favorite memory since being at CCU was his baptism his freshman year on October 17th. His parents, entire team, coaches, and even his head coach’s family attended. It meant a lot that they were so supportive as he took that step in his faith. Maydon says, “Yea, baseball’s cool and all that, and it was a cool season, but that was definitely something that meant a lot to me.”
OUTSIDE OF SPORTS | Maydon enjoys hunting and fishing, hanging out with friends, and going on drives. Maydon says, “These things are where I find my peace and how I get away from a chaotic, busy baseball schedule.”
FAMILY TIES | Maydon is the son of David and Jennifer Maydon and has one sibling, Landry. He is the first to play collegiate sports in his family. Maydon says, “When I do get to see them, it makes it more enjoyable for sure.”
POST COLLEGE DREAMS | Maydon hopes to go into commission sales with medical equipment.
