4 years varsity track... 3rd place 300m hurdles.. 3rd in the Men's 4x400m relay... 6th in Men's 4x800m rlay at state... Varsity starter 4 years in basketball... 1st team All Conference Juior and Senior Year...2nd team All Conference Sophomore year.. All State, League MVP, and Player of the Year Award Senior Year
Why did you choose CCU over other schools you might have played at? Why is playing at CCU important to you?
The quality of people at CCU struck me as a top of the line school, and I honestly felt the heart of CCU was the most genuine. I am excited to play at CCU, because I come from a small town. I am not just playing for myself now. I am playing for my God and the people back home cheering me on.
How would you like to be remembered when your college athletic career is over?
I would like to be remembered as the person that did exactly what needed to be done in order to get a win. I want to be known as a man with integrity and a man with an unwillingness to give up.
What are you hoping to accomplish this year as an individual? As a team?
I would like to excel at the college level, and get bumped to varsity. As a team I want us to have a winning season, and to be looked at by other teams as a threat.
What are you looking forward to most in your first year at CCU?
I am looking forward to taking classes I actually want to take, and taking a step up in my game in basketball. I also looking forward to the Christian atmosphere, I have never been in a Christian school so I am excited for the change!
