High School athletic experience, accomplishments, awards, etc.
Volleyball all four years…club volleyball for three years…captain of my team for 3 seasons…best offensive award.
Why is playing your sport at CCU important to you? How is it different from your other competitive experiences?
Playing at CCU is important to me because the environment and sportsmanship manifest a completely different experience than that of high school. Although high school maintained a high-energy and competitive feel, CCU harbors an atmosphere that includes everything I experienced in high school with the incorporation of God, and what it means to be a Christian athlete.
What kind of legacy are you hoping to leave at CCU after your career is over?
I hope to leave an energy that allows future athletes/students to walk on campus/in the gym, understanding that this school and environment is one they will want to call their own.
What are you looking forward to most in your first year at CCU?
I'm looking forward to the team experience as well as the competitive feel at the collegiate level. I also look forward to building others up and encouraging them when maybe they're not having the best of practices, games, or days.
