Beyond the Jersey
  • INSPIRATIONAL PERSON OR QUOTE & WHY | “He is no fool who gives what he cannot keep to gain what he cannot lose.” - Jim Elliot “This quote is a reminder to me of what is truly important in life. Giving all of myself to gain salvation and thus an eternity with Christ is why I should sacrifice. It is why I am able to risk failure because I know that my success is not based on my performance!”
  • FAVORITE CCU MOMENT & WHY| “My favorite CCU moment happened during my freshman year when we went to Black Hills state for indoor conference. We had this amazing Airbnb and got to spend a couple days competing and spending time together. We got to hear some of Poag’s stories and share some of our own!”
  • OUTSIDE OF SPORTS | “I like to write letters, hike, fish, bow hunt, and off-road in my 92’ Toyota Pickup.”
  • WHY DID YOU CHOOSE CCU | “I chose CCU because of the genuine faith that the community of people I would be involved with had! The team is truly a group of brothers and sisters that love each other!”
  • FAMILY TIES | “My mom was a swimmer at Iowa State. She might even still have one of the records there! My dad was a cross-country skier. I have three siblings: an older sister Ryene, a younger brother Maclean, and a younger sister Whitney.”
  • POST COLLEGE DREAMS | “I would love to one day own a ranch in Montana and raise cattle!”
