Year-by-Year
- 2024-2025 | Duncan competed in all five tournaments this fall, finishing in the top 10 in each event, with multiple 1st place finishes. He kicked off the season with a victory at The Writz at Mile High, shooting scores of 65, 70, 65, and finishing 16 under par. He then secured a 7th place finish at the WWU Men's Invitational, followed by a 3rd place finish at the Dennis Rose Invitational. Duncan capped off the season with another 1st place win at the HPU Shark Shootout, shooting 64 and 66 for a 10 under par finish. Adam compiled a great spring season with back-to-back wins in Arizona and a 3rd place finish at Regionals to lead his team to the title and National Championship Berth.
- 2023-2024 | Duncan competed in all fall tournaments this season with some incredible results. He began the year taking 2nd place at the Writz at Mile High Tournament as he carded 68, 72, and 74 consecutively. He followed up with another 2nd place finish at the RJGA Shootout as he carded an incredible low round of 66. He wrapped up the fall season with a tie for 3rd at the Dennis Rose Invitational as he scored 71 and 68 to help the Cougars to a 2nd place finish overall. Duncan started the spring hot, winning the Las Vegas Desert Classic before claiming the individual title at the RMAC championships to lead his team to their first ever conference title. He placed 6th at Regionals to help his team to the National Championships. In Florida, Adam claimed 10th in the nation for First Team All American honors. He went on to go 3-0 in match play, including a clutch birdie putt to seal the national title for his team on the 18th hole.
- 2022- 2023 | Duncan completed in 12 events during the 2022-2023 season. During the NCAA West Regional, Duncan tied for tenth place overall as he birdied holes 6-9 during the second round. He also placed. Duncan came in second place during the Writz Invitation. He scored 210 which was 6 under par earning him second overall during the Invitation. He helped lead his team to multiple first place finishes in the spring.
- 2021-2022 | Duncan played in 11 events during the 2021-2022 season. He played in a total of 32 rounds with 2316 strokes. He averaged a total of 72 strokes per round. Duncan’s best game was The Writz International. During his first round, he posted 75 strokes after shooting 4 birdies. Duncan’s second round was when he shot 69 strokes with five birdies. Finally, during his last round, Duncan posted 69 strokes which resulted in his 2nd place win. Within Duncan’s season he also earned top 5 in The RJGA Shootout Tournament and also the Dennis Rose Invitational. Additionally, during the RMAC Championships, Duncan was ninth overall which helped his team qualify for the West/South Central Regional Tournament.
Beyond the Jersey
- INSPIRATIONAL QUOTE & WHY | Chi-Chi Rodriguez once said, “I never pray to God to make a putt. I pray to God to help me react good if I miss a putt”.
- FAVORITE CCU MOMENT & WHY | Duncan’s favorite moment was when his entire golf team went to the middle of nowhere in Texas to a teammates house. Duncan and his teammates got to bond together which is what makes a good team, having a great team dynamic. Duncan is forever going to cherish the moments he got to share his teammates.
- WHY CCU? | Duncan chose CCU because he loved the atmosphere that CCU had, he just knew that it would be a great place for him to grow as an individual, athlete, and Christian. CCU also provided Duncan a great opportunity to continue to play golf after high school as we3ll.
- OUTSIDE OF SPORTS | Outside of sports, Adam is chaplain of the Men’s Golf team. Additionally, he loves to play ping pong and hopes to become the intramural ping pong champion. He also enjoys watching Breaking Bad with his roommates and hanging out with his friends.
- FAMILY TIES | Adam’s parents are Tisha and John Duncan. His mom danced throughout college and his dad played tennis during college. He also has two older siblings, Abbie and Aiden Duncan.
- POST COLLEGE DREAMS | After college, Duncan hopes to strive for excellence in whatever he does whether he professionally plays golf or becomes a golf coach.
