Mark Hull became the men's CCU Head Golf Coach in 2005. The leader of teams defined by their strong character and discipline both on and off the course, Coach Hull adds passion and enthusiasm in addition to a wealth of coaching experience to the program.

Spearheading the resurgence of a once struggling program, Hull’s teams have made numerous appearances in the NCAA Super Regionals and rank among the elite Division II programs in the nation. He has also helped nine of the last 12 teams earn a berth into the NCAA tournament.
He coached Chase Carlson to the NCAA West/South Central Super Regional title, then a third-place finish at the NCAA Championships in 2019. The team made Regionals in both the 2021-22 and 2022-23 seasons as they continue to make a push for the NCAA Championships. Xavier Bighaus was named an All American at the close of the 2022-23 season.
The 2023-24 season was arguably the best in program history for the Cougars as they claimed four tournament wins and finished in the top 10 in every single tournament they competed in. Hull helped lead Adam Duncan to the individual RMAC title and guided his team to their first RMAC crown in program history. For his incredible efforts, Mark was named a finalist for the NCAA Division II Coach of the year Award as he led his team to unprecedented results during the 23-24 season. The season was not yet over though. The team made the National Tournament and advanced to match play followed by the finals for the first time in program history. CCU faced off with North Georgia for the National Championship and claimed the schools' first ever National title. The National Championship is not only the first that men's golf has ever earned, it is the first by any men's golf team in the history of the storied Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference and the first national title in Colorado Christian Athletics history. It is also the first title at any level brought home by a Colorado-based golf team ever.
In 2014, the team won Colorado Christian's first ever men's national championship after earning the crown at the NCCAA National Tournament. That feat was repeated in 2015, 2016, and 2017. For each national title received, Coach Hull also received the NCCAA Coach of the Year award, and received the RMAC Coach of the Year award in the 2015-2016 and 2016-2017 seasons.
As a varsity athlete and graduate of Taylor University (IN) in 1993, Hull soon discovered his love for coaching as he served as an assistant men’s basketball coach at Houghton College in New York from 1997-99. He then acted as an assistant golf club team coach at Gordon College in Massachusetts, before accepting the challenge to take over at the helm of the men’s tennis team. Hull remained actively involved in the world of golf, as he instructed the Junior Golf Program at the prestigious Myopia Hunt Club (host of four U.S. Opens).
Hull resides in Lakewood with his wife, Danielle, and daughter.
