Why is playing your sport at CCU important to you? How is it different from your other competitive experiences?
God has given me this talent. By playing golf to the best of my ability I bring glory to Him. My playing is an act of worship to God. It is different than other competitive experiences because more than any other competitive experience, golf is my God given talent and I compete for His glory.
In what ways have you changed as a result of your time as a CCU Athlete?
Through my time at CCU I have grown in my character on and off the course. My perspective on competition has changed and it is much more about my team and my Savior than it is about me.
Who has been most influential in your spiritual, academic, or athletic development as a CCU student-athlete?
My coach and select teammates have set a remarkable example of how to compete and compose ourselves under pressure. My dad has been the most influential person to me for my whole life in terms of athletic and spiritual development. He taught me how to compose myself and compete for the glory of God and not for myself or others.
