Beyond the Jersey
  • INSPIRATIONAL PERSON OR QUOTE & WHY | “A hugely inspirational person in my life is my father. From hearing stories of him running in college to him coaching me all the way through high school, he has been an integral part of my running journey. He was the one to keep me steady when my nerves were racing before toeing the line and always reminded me that I was loved, regardless of results. He is a man of integrity and selflessness that I’ve always admired.”
  • FAVORITE CCU MOMENT & WHY| “My favorite CCU moment so far was watching our guys line up at Cross Country Nationals in 2022. Understanding the weight of the devotion and work my teammates and brothers had undertaken to get to that point was incredible. The anticipation of the pain and trials that they were about to embark on was absolutely inspiring, and to see the joy blending with exhaustion after the finish line was everything we had hoped for.”
  • OUTSIDE OF SPORTS | “Growing up in West Michigan I fell in love with paddle boarding, cross country skiing, snowboarding, ice skating, and hiking. I also love reading and drinking coffee.”
  • WHY DID YOU CHOOSE CCU | “The culture of CCU, of this team and the student body, was magnetic. Not only is the quality of people here outstanding but I was drawn to the biblical education I could receive in such a beautiful area. It is impossible for me to imagine being anywhere else.”
  • FAMILY TIES | “Both of my parents ran collegiately, my dad at Indiana Wesleyan and my mom at University of Louisville and then Indiana Wesleyan. They are now both track and cross-country coaches in our school district. My dad is currently coaching my little brother, Kye, who is an outstanding sophomore on the course and on the track. My older brother, Kohl also ran cross country and my older sister, Kenna played volleyball collegiately.”
  • POST COLLEGE DREAMS | “My dreams for after college is to serve the Lord and His Kingdom, hopefully by teaching people the Scriptures, how to read them and live into the redemptive story that God has extended an invitation into.”
