Assistant Softball Coach Samantha Messer came to CCU in the fall of 2015 after a successful career at Florida Atlantic in Boca Raton, FL. An All-CUSA athlete, Messer pitched four years for Head Coach Joan Joyce at FAU. She received her undergraduate degree in Health Administration in 2015, and is currently pursuing an MBA with an emphasis in Health Administration at CCU.
Coach Messer will work with CCU’s pitching staff.
“I couldn’t be more excited about my opportunity at Colorado Christian,” Messer remarked at the start of the 2015-16 season. “It’s such a privilege to get the chance to work with this particular group of girls and watch as they grow not only spiritually but as athletes as well. The staff here has made it such an easy transition for me coming all the way from Florida and my heart is overwhelmed with joy to be able to play a part here at CCU and fulfill this leadership role to the best of my abilities, bringing my unique skill set and background to the team.”
