Year-by-Year 
  • 2024 | Edwards started all 60 games for the Cougars, recording a batting average .344, 32 RBI, and .483 slugging percentage. She tallied 62 hits, 13 doubles, and a total of 87 bases. She also holds various records now including career doubles and career walks. 
  • 2023 | Edwards started every single game for the Cougars, tallying 32 RBI with a .370 average. The senior scored 59 runs with 78 hits and a slugging percentage of .559. 
  • 2022 | Holding the teams highest batting average of .475, Edwards contributed in a big way to the teams success. She also had the highest slugging percentage of .864 and the second highest on-base percentage of .518. Edwards led the team with 94 hits, 21 doubles, and 10 triples. With these numbers, Edwards and her team swept the RMAC Conference Tournament adding another major win to their record. During the tournament, Edwards won the RMAC Tournament MVP as well as First Team All-Conference and First Team Academic All-Conference. 
  • 2021 | Edwards played consistently throughout the season starting in each of the 42 games the Cougars competed in. She helped the team to a 2nd place finish in the RMAC Conference Tournament finishing the season with a 29-13 record.
  • 2020| Due to the rise of COVID-19 during the season, games and scheduling was affected. Despite the crazy season, Edwards quickly became a team leader and contributed in big ways as a freshman on the team. She started in every game and had the second highest batting average on the team of .414. She was the heavy hitter on her team with 41 hits. Her consistency at bat helped her team to a 2nd place standing in the RMAC.

  • FAVORITE CCU MOMENT | Edwards says that winning the RMAC tournament in 2022 is her favorite CCU moment. 
  • OUTSIDE OF SPORTS | “Watch movies, hangout with friends, and doing anything active.”
  • FAMILY TIES | “My dad is in the 2006 Colorado USSSA slow pitch hall of fame. My uncle played for the Men’s USA softball over 55 team. My grandpa is the biggest supporter and best fan I could ask for. “
  • POST COLLEGE DREAMS | Edwards would like to become an auditor at a Big 4 accounting firm.
