Julia Trujillo became the assistant women's basketball coach at CCU following an illustrious playing career at York University in Nebraska. 

Trujillo assisted the Panthers in her final year with the program as a player coach, and also achieved All American Honors after averaging 20 points a game for her team. 

Coach Thompson is excited for what Julia brings to the program, exclaiming "Julia is a persistent person with a give-it-your-all mentality! She was so driven and focused on what she wants to do and the path the Lord has put her on, CCU is a perfect fit!!"

Trujillo is a Denver native and will look to help a young Cougars team develop and turn heads in the conference this season.
