Why is playing your sport at CCU important to you? How is it different from your other competitive experiences?
Playing at CCU means playing for a bigger purpose than just wins and losses. We are representing Christ in what we do which gives us a huge platform to glorify Him.
What kind of legacy are you hoping to leave at CCU after your career is over?
I know that once I leave here, my team will still continue to glorify God in everything they do and that expectation will never go away. That means excellence in the classroom, on the court, and in our daily lives. Christ will remain the center of all of it.
In what ways have you changed as a result of your time as a CCU Athlete?
My time at CCU has given me the opportunity to grow in my faith, build relationships with the most amazing people I have met in my life, and become a leader. Because of the time I have spent here, I have confidence to go on in life living out my dreams and taking every day as a new chance to grow in Christ.
Who has been most influential in your spiritual, academic, or athletic development as a CCU student-athlete?
My coaches have taught me many lessons in my time here at CCU and they have literally changed my life. They have given me the tools I need to grow in my faith in the good and bad times. My teammates have also been the most supportive and encouraging group of people I have ever been around.
