INSPIRATIONAL PERSON OR QUOTE & WHY | '"Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.' -Joshua 1:9. This spoke to me tremendously as an athlete when I would place too much expectation on my back before a big race. I know that no matter the course, no matter the situation, the Lord will always be at my side during the race!"
OUTSIDE OF SPORTS | "I love being adventurous with my friends and family; I will always be up for paddleboarding, snowboarding, jet skiing or ripping around on my quad with my older brothers. Another thing I find super fun is chasing sunrises or sunsets!"
FAMILY TIES | "I am a family of five; I have two older brothers that ran/run at Alma College, Cliff had set the indoor record for the 3k, and Will just joined last spring with determination to try new things as 400m runner. My mom never ran in college, but her passion for running started in high school and has continued while raising us kids. And my dad has been our biggest supporter for us, while holding our sweats at the end of the finish line when it was chilly out."
WHAT YOU ARE LOOKING FORWARD TO AT CCU | "When I considered transferring to CCU, one thing I prayed everyday about, was finding a community that served, loved, and wanted to follow Christ. I felt the excitement in me right when I stepped foot on campus, and knew that God had brought me here for a reason to grow spiritually, while also starting a new journey in my life."
POST COLLEGE DREAMS | "After college, I hope to keep my passion of helping and healing the ones in need by graduating with a BSN, and working as a labor and delivery nurse in a hospital. Or working in the emergency room would be sweet too!"
