What are your goals for 2013?
The first thing I pray to improve at is my witness of Jesus Christ to competitors, teammates, peers, and out on each course we run. For running, I first look to grow great relationships with all the incoming freshmen and continue the friendships with current teammates. I also look to improve on each of my times for the 5 and 6k. For my academics, I look to improve my GPA each semester, making the one to come a higher score than the previous one.
Favorite workout…
My favorite workout would have to be speed work outs at stone house and hill workouts. My favorite runs are when we go to different trails in the mountains and we are able to soak in God's beautiful creation.
What do you hope to accomplish at CCU?
I hope to accomplish growth in my relationship and my love for God, growth of wonderful relationships with the students and professors here, and to graduate with a Psychology degree. While doing this I seek for God's name to be glorified and for His Kingdom to expand in this all.
Favorite Running Memory...
5) My favorite running moment was in Costa Rica on a mission trip and Chelsea Roussopulos, Kenzie Hughes, John Martinez, and I all ran through the finish line of a fun 10k race while holding hands pointing up to God. I have always wanted to do that and there in Costa Rica God gave us that opportunity. It is a running moment that I will never forget.
Favorite Food and Movie…
My favorite food is my mom’s chicken enchiladas with Mexican rice. My favorite movies are Stick It and G.I. Joe.
