Ashlyn Kennedy's started in 2022 as the CCU Women's Head Golf Coach after playing for the program from 2014-2017. Kennedy also works part time in the Cherry Creek School District as an occupational therapist. In the 2024-25 season, Ashlyn brought her team back to the NCAA Regional tournament as they continue to build momentum. Most recently, Kennedy was named the 2025-2026 Coach of the Year. Kennedy garnered this title after coaching the team to a second place RMAC finish, and another NCAA regional appearance. 

Kennedy looks forward to helping the program grow, saying, "I'm pumped to give back to a program that gave so much to me. I think I had the most growth spiritually and emotionally during my college days being on the golf team. I know how life-giving it can be, so I'm really excited to be that pillar or person for the younger girls on the team. It's so cool because I walked that path and now I get to help others walk through that path." 


She received her master's degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of Tennessee. 

Kennedy is a native of Tennessee and is married to CCU alum and former member of the Cougars golf team, Andrew Kennedy.
