Josh began his coaching time at CCU prior to the 2025-26 season as he rejoins a program he helped build as a student-athlete.
Pierantoni was primarily a distance runner in his time at Colorado Christian, starring on the cross country and track and field teams. His most notable accomplishments include seven All-American honors, coming from both cross country and track and field. He led the cross country team to its' best ever finish in 2022 as they claimed third place with an 11th place individual finish from Pierantoni. With numerous All-American honors in track and field, the highlight came in 2023 when he took on a loaded field of talent in the 5k and placed third place overall. Josh knows what it takes to beat the best at the highest level, and he will bring that knowledge to the program for years to come.
"My goal as an assistant coach is to empower the student athletes that make up the team to chase their goals with excellence and the joy of Christ," Pierantoni said. "I think that my experience as an athlete has given me understanding for what it takes to compete at a high level and empathy for what our athletes go through on a day to day basis. I'm extremely excited and can't wait to see even more growth in the coming years."
