Romans 5:3-5 "Not only that, but we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, and hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us. This has inspired me because I have been excluded by my teammates for my faith and running has taught me endurance. I have seen great maturity in my character and faith through the experience.
- FAVORITE MOMENT & WHY |
I started cross county walking the practices, the slowest on the team. Somehow by the fourth race I had made varsity, and ran singing "In Christ Alone" moving from seventh to second on the team. Running over two minutes faster than before, no one knew what happened.
