Favorite moment in sport - yours or any other...
My favorite moment in track is when I find myself improving during times when I feel the most frustrated. Because during those countless times when I feel like I cannot improve, I somehow find myself achieving small goal which to me feels like a triumphant accomplishment.
High School athletic experience, accomplishments, awards, club/leagues, etc.
I did track all for four years all though out high school, more specifically discuss, shot-put, triple jump, and some shorter distances. I qualified for state three years in a row, and was ranked number in the state (Alaska) for a period of time. I was invited to track invitational for the top best in the state, and placed third at a state competition. I have also received an award for top female athlete of the year.
Service to the community (service projects, mission trips, ministries, etc.)
I have been involved in many service projects including, "Feed my Starving Children," and traveled on various mission trips. I have been on four missions trips, such as, Mexico in 2011, South Dakota in 2012, New Orleans 2013, and Chicago in 2014. I have been involved in youth group since I was in sixth grade, and through my youth group I have attended many youth seminars and gatherings.
