Blake Pollema joined the Colorado Christian staff as the Head Athletic Trainer in November of 2019.

Prior to joining the Cougars staff, he worked on the CSU-Pueblo Sports Medicine team and was responsible for serving the women’s soccer, baseball, football, tennis, and golf teams. Pollema worked with the Thunderwolves for three seasons.

In addition to his previous RMAC experience at CSU-Pueblo, Pollema served as a graduate assistant athletic trainer at Minnesota State University - Mankato. He worked directly with the football, wrestling, and baseball teams during his two years with the Mavericks athletics program. He also spent a year working with the North Dakota State football squad.

Outside of the collegiate environment, Blake has also worked with USA Wrestling, the Minnesota Youth Soccer Association, and served as a student intern for the Minnesota Vikings and the Mankato Moondogs of the Northwoods Baseball League.

He earned his bachelors degree from MSU-Mankato in Athletic Training. He holds a masters degree from the school as well in Experiential Education with an emphasis in Athletic Training Leadership. Pollema also completed graduate coursework at North Dakota State in Advanced Athletic Training.
