Grace took over as the Director of Operations and Event Management in August 2025. Prior to this, she served as the Sports Information Director at CCU for two years.

Grace is a former CCU alum who ran track and field for four years. Her main event was high jump. Grace majored in Elementary Education and recently received her Masters in Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Education.

As an undergrad, Grace chose CCU because of the small community, like-minded people, and the ability to run track and field. She began working in the Athletics Department as an undergrad her Sophomore year and continued on until she graduated in 2022. Grace loved working with the student athletes as an athlete herself and building life-long connections with the Athletics Staff. After graduating, she took the Communications GA position for eight months and then transitioned to the full-time SID in February, 2023.

Grace is the daughter of Tom and Pam McCartney, and has a twin brother named Matthew.

Grace lives by the Bible verse Colossians 3:12 which says, "therefore, as God's chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience." Her life motto and goal is to love people well.

When Grace is not at work, she enjoys shopping, reading, and spending quality time with her friends and family.
