Michael began his role as Assistant SID & Events Manager as of November 2025.
Michael is a former CCU alumn and dual sport athlete, playing soccer and running XC/TF for the Cougars. After spending 5 years with the Cougars, Michael played his final year of college soccer at Warner University in Florida, before beginning his new role in CCU Athletics. Michael majored in Business Administration with a Sports Management minor, and is currently working towards his MBA.
As an undergrad at CCU, Michael spent his senior year interning under Cassidy Burke in Event Management and SID operations. This was coupled with a student staff role in the office of Advancement and a specific focus on fundraising for the new CCU athletic facilities. 
Michael spoke Matthew 5:16 (In the same way, let your light shine before men, so that they may see your good works and glorify your father in heaven) in his “why” for CCU Athletics. “I’m passionate about athletics and more specifically the athletes who will spend the most transformative years of their lives here. Spreading the gospel is the most important thing to me and to be able to do that at CCU into a hurting athletics world is a true blessing. I couldn’t be more excited to come back to Cougar Athletics in this capacity”.
When not working, you can find Michael outdoors, reading, or spending time with friends and family. He is a Colorado native, avid golfer, and is currently attempting to learn the guitar.
