CCU faced off against Colorado School of Mines on Saturday afternoon in their final home game of the year, but were unable to come away with the victory as Mines won in straight sets 25-19,25-16, and 25-21. Four seniors were honored as they played their last game in front of their home crowd.

Heading into the match Colorado Christian knew they were going to be in for a fight as the Mines squad was first in the RMAC with a 16-2 conference record and 23-5 overall. The Cougars kept it close in the first, but Mines pulled away late to take the first set. They fought hard, but were unable to get any momentum going their way as the Cougs dropped the second and third sets.

Mollie Bailey led the way offensively on the day as she had 11 kills on 28 total attempts for a hitting percentage of .321.
Joy Kurosawa led the team with nine digs.

Kaylee Pierce, and
Jordan Carswell represented the senior class for the Cougars. They played hard throughout their entire careers for the team, and were valuable assets to the development and growth of the program.
