The Cougars did it again this weekend with a 3-0 win against Chadron State College. CCU swept the Eagles 25-18, 25-21, and 25-23 in a quick, clean match.

Standing out on the court was senior #9
Mollie Bailey who totaled seven kills off 20 attempts with a .300% and then middle hitter #10
Hope Baldrica who was unstoppable at the net with 10 kills at .529%.
Sophia Proano led blue and gold on offense putting down 13 balls.

Taylor Sturms had 17 digs in the back row, followed by setter #18
Kylee Wurster with 13. Wurster made 41 assists on the night.

The Eagles are a team of height and have some talented players. Their strength is their block, and against the Cougars they shined. Chadron had nine total team blocks, while the Cougs had six. It still wasn't enough to stop Christian from scoring. CCU's back row made it easy to run a fast offense at the net and made it possible to tally up the points. The Cougs dominated the side outs this match.

CCU's total team hitting percent was .212% with 46 kills and 17 errors. Chadron had 39 kills and 21 errors.

Colorado Christian is now 16-9 overall and 8-6 in the conference. The Cougs still hold the seven spot in the RMAC standings. With two weeks left of conference play, a lot can happen regarding going to the RMAC tournament.
