CCU finished out the regular season on Friday night with a victory over Chadron State in four sets. The Cougars took the first set 25-20 but dropped the second 22-25. Then they bounced back and won the final two sets 25-16 and 28-26.

The two teams were squaring off for the second time in two weeks, as the Cougs took care of business back on Oct. 29
th when they swept the Eagles in straight sets. In this contest, Colorado Christian held the statistical advantage on the night as they led in kills, aces, blocks and assists.

Sophia Proano led the team in kills with 14, hitting .243% on the night.
Hope Baldrica was the most potent offensive weapon in the match as she turned 15 total chances into nine kills for a hitting percentage of .533%.
Aubrey Parker was a contributor on offense and defense as she had nine kills, and six block assists.
Kylee Wurster led the team in assists with 45, and
Mariela Gonzalez had 16 digs in the match.

Andria Harshman spoke about the game saying, "Tonight was a great finish to the regular season for the lady Cougars! We played composed and focused in a tough environment and pulled out the win."

This marks the sixth straight win for the team as they wrap up the regular season with a 20-9 overall record and begin to prepare for postseason play. Coach Harshman went on to say, "I am so proud of our team and what we've accomplished this season. Finishing this strong gives us a great path for the RMAC tournament. We are looking forward to tomorrow night to see who we will officially play on Tuesday this week!"
