The Lady Cougars were defeated by Regis University in the last two games of their series. The morning game was 4-1 RU, and the afternoon ended in a run rule 9-1 RU. The Cougs went 0-4 on the weekend, making their overall record 6-24 this season.

The Cougars had 11 hits on the day, and 13 strikeouts. CCU struggled on offense this whole series, not being able to connect with the ball.
Charlotte Romero stayed consistent at the plate going 4-6 total in games three and four. Romero has been the most consistent hitter on the blue and gold squad, always putting the ball in play. Romero had two doubles and two singles in Monday's games.

In game one, CCU scored one run in the top of the fifth off of a
Hanna Farmer single through the middle. Hayley Riesenmy was the only one on base, scoring from third. In game two, short stop
Stephanie Tatham had a huge single to right field, allowing
Amy Edison to score.

The Regis Rangers would go on to win games three and four by being strong at the plate and on the mound. Pitchers for RU were Nicole Hull (9-6 struck-out 7), and then Nicole Aviles (7-6, struck-out 6). Regis had a total of 18 hits including one home run, four doubles, and three triples. Pitching four the Cougs was
Tana Feiner in game one giving up four runs off seven hits, and striking out two. Game two started with
Shelby Diffenderfer pitching 1.2 innings giving up four runs off five hits.
Jennie Winston would come in to finish the game with six hits and three earned runs.

The Colorado Christian Cougars will be traveling to the University of Nebraska Kearney to compete on Tuesday, March 22
nd and Wednesday, March 23
rd. Both days will be double headers with the first pitch at 11:00 am.
