Game 1:
The first match of the day pitted the Cougs against Seattle Pacific University. The Christian squad made quick work of them as they won in straight sets. They sent a message in the first set winning 25-15, then kept the pressure on by winning 25-22 in the second, and finished them off 25-20 in the third.

Kylee Wurster led the team in assists with 35, and also added two aces while she was serving.
Â
Game 2:
CCU had to wait 12 hours before they played their second and final game of the tournament, and the time off may have been a factor as they were defeated in straight sets (25-20, 25-14, 25-19) at the hands of tournament host Concordia.
Â
Sophia Proano did all she could to keep her team in the match as she finished the game hitting a stellar .524% with 13 kills on 24 chances, but it was not enough to overcome the strong play from Concordia.
