Taking their home field for their last game of the 2017 campaign, the Cougars took the loss against Westminster with a final score of 2-0. Last week when the Griffins and Cougars first met this season, Westminster won 2-1.
At the half both teams were scoreless, but the half still maintained excitement with lots of action on the field. Westminster kept the pressure on and got up eleven shots and ten corner kicks. CCU got up six shots and dealt thirteen fouls and two yellow cards.
In the second half, CCU was able to come out on top with the shot count with fourteen. WC had eight, but made them count and netted two.
The two goals for the Griffins were scored within ten minutes of each other, both off of unassisted one on one plays. The second half also saw more action from the foul count, CCU adding on three more yellow cards and Westminster giving two.

Ryan Hurley. The senior's leadership presence will be missed next year, as they played a huge role for the team on and off the field.

The loss gives the Cougars a season record of 1-14-3, and 1-11-2 in RMAC.
