Set two was more evenly matched as the Griffins stepped up their game and put the pressure on the Cougars. The first few points were back and forth between the two. But the lead continued to increase for Colorado Christian and they took set two by 7, 25-18.
Playing their best offensive set of the year, the Cougars were unstoppable in set three. With 17 kills and 0 errors, the team hit .567 to finish out the match strong. The offensive blows did not let up, and was spread between numerous Cougar hitters. The final score of set three was 25-8.
