With 6 of their last 7 points, Sarah McGinley closed out the game with a layup and 4 free throws to put them ahead for the win, 73-31.

Coach Laster remarks on the win, "I am so proud of them. We have been coming together as a team. I think just surviving the ups and down of how the game went tonight was real impressive to me. I am proud of this team's attitude. We are shipping people in-and-out of the line-up and no one cares how many minutes they are getting. Metro came off a really good win at Regis and to see our team battle through adversity and come out with the win is huge. I think a win like this will help us down the stretch and we have some expectation now for each other and we at the point where we hold each other accountable."

GAME LEADERS: Leading scorer and rebounder for the Cougars was Jordan Baer, finishing with 18 points and 11 boards. Sarah McGinley finished with 15 points, 5 assists, and 7 boards. Marie Tsoungui was also in the double digits with 11 points. A notable stat was the foul count by the end of the game, after MSU Denver had three players foul and Colorado Christian had one.
