BOZEMAN, MT - Despite playing a solid opening half the Cougars couldn't keep momentum going as Montana State notched an 82-46 win on Tuesday evening. The contest closes out the three-game exhibition game schedule for the Cougars.
Colorado Christian kept things close in the first half as they lead for just under eight minutes. They had just two turnovers in the first 20 minutes while
Justin Engesser notched seven points as they were down just two points (31-29) at the halftime horn.
It was a completed different script for the host Bobcats. They shot 62.5 percent (20-for-32) in the second half while limiting the Cougars to six made field goal attempts as they pulled away.
Aiden Cantwell ended up with a team high 12 points for the Cougars.Â
