GOLDEN, CO – Amid chilly temperatures and overcast skies, the Cougar nine left the Golden City feeling gray.

HOW IT HAPPENED: Colorado Christian put the first run on the scoreboard in the second inning when a groundout to second base from Sam Gallegos scored Tommy Orr. Colorado School of Mines added another run in the seventh inning when Kuzma's sacrifice bunt Trevor Howard from third base. Hsue rounded out the scoring in the eighth frame when his doubled with two outs scored Jason Hall.
