HOW IT HAPPENED: The host school's offense was relentless throughout as they banged out 24 hits, nine of which went for extra bases, as they ran their record to 18-2 overall and 14-2 in RMAC games.
MSU Denver scored six runs in the first inning then four in the second frame and were on the way to victory.
Conversely the Cougars scored a single run in four separate innings to account for their scoring.
