LAKEWOOD, CO – The Colorado Christian baseball program was in a celebratory moved as they honored its seniors prior to Friday's game at All Star Park
MSU Denver put a damper on the Cougars with some big offensive numbers in recording a 21-1 victory.
HOW IT HAPPENED: MSU Denver started the game with a three-run first inning highlighted by a two-run homerun by Niko Piazza. The Roadrunners made their lead 4-0 in the top of the third inning when Cade Peters hit a sacrifice fly.
The visitor's offensive effort was nearly unstoppable as evidence of their 13-run fourth inning then a two-run fifth frame.
Colorado Christian scored their first run of the game with a Caden Walton RBI single in the fourth frame which scored Luke Thompson.
The scoring slowed down as just two runs were in scored in the game's final four innings.

- Tyler Henning, Tyler Fischer and Connor McCollum got their first collegiate at-bats in the ninth inning
- Tim Pettet played the final five innings behind the plate in his first catching experience since 2019
