AUSTIN, TX- Colorado Christian closed the LSC/RMAC Challenge on Saturday with a neutral site matchup at St. Edwards against Dallas Baptist University. The teams played evenly early, but eventually it was the patriots who pulled away for the 114-75 victory. 

Noah Kon led the offensive effort for the second straight night as he put up 18, followed by Jacob Everson with 12. Shaylen Woodbery led his team in rebounds with four while Schafer Reichart distributed the ball with a trio of assists. 

The Cougars led in second chance points by a margin of 19-16, and they scored 13 off turnovers. They led by eight at one point in the game while pouring in 28 points in the paint. 

Midway through the first half the teams were tight with DBU leading by just six after a free throw from Michael Bell Jr. From there the Patriots pulled away to take a 60-34 lead into the half and they never looked back.

The Cougars will be back in the friendly confines of the CCU Event Center on November 17 as they host Barclay College at 5 p.m. MST.
