LAKEWOOD, CO- For the second consecutive week, Kali Crandall has been named the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Pitcher of the Week. The award comes after Crandall helped her team to six more wins this past week and matched her own school record in strikeouts at 15. 

In her first start of the week, Crandall took down Azusa Pacific with a complete game shutout where she allowed just four hits and struck out five. Crandall then saw two innings of work in both games of a doubleheader against Northwest Nazarene, picking up the win in the second contest with two scoreless innings pitched to secure victory for her team. 

The most dominant effort of the week came against the Cougars' toughest opponent, #19 Concordia University Irvine. Crandall held the nationally ranked Golden Eagles to just three hits as the game went all the way to 10 innings. She matched the school record she set last week with 15 strikeouts in the game as CCU went on to take down CUI 2-0. 

Crandall now sits at an ERA of 1.70 with a 4-1 record and 40 strikeouts to lead her team. For her continued excellence in the circle, Kali Crandall is the RMAC Pitcher of the Week for the second straight week. 

Crandall and the Cougars will look to continue their winning ways when they open RMAC play at home against Chadron State on February 18 at 12 p.m. MST.
