Golden, CO- The Cougars took on the Orediggers tonight at the Colorado School of Mines. The Orediggers ended up taking home the W, 83-58.
The Orediggers started off strong, and never let up. After Mines took a 10 point lead early, the Cougars were not able to claw back. CCU fought hard, but were not able to take a lead. Heading into the half, the Orediggers were up 39-21.
Although Colorado Christian were able to execute their offense better in the second half, but in the end it was Mines who came away with a victory on their home court 83-58.
Jason Gallant and
Schafer Reichart led the team with 17 and 13 points, respectively. Gallant also led the team in rebounds with 6, along with
Nic Zeil, who had 5.
The Cougars are back in action tomorrow night at MSU Denver at 7p.m. MST.Â
